MEND (Mind, Exercise, Nutrition... Do It!)

Mytime Active offer FREE healthy lifestyle services incorporating nutritional advice and physical activity!

Our Mind, Exercise, Nutrition, Do It! (MEND) sessions are tailored to participants needs and capabilities and are all delivered in local community venues such as children’s centres, community centres and schools. MEND tries its best to make the time and location suitable for families taking into account school and nursery times.

We offer programmes for:

  • post natal women with babies aged 0-2 years and mini programmes for children aged 2-4 years.This is a family approach programme in which you attend with your child. You can refer your child onto the programme or your child can be referred by one of our GPs.
  • healthy lifestyle programmes for 5-7, 7-13 year olds and teenagers. MEND 5-7 years, 7-13 years and TEENS (13-18) programmes are treatment programmes for children with a certain weight. For out TEENS programme - parents are welcome to come but are not obliged to attend the programme.One of our GP's will usually refer you. However you can refer yourself. If you do refer yourself, ensure you have details of your child's BMI (Body Mass Index) or height and weight measurements.
